We have this great little Olympus 850SW camera. We call it the "water camera" because it's waterproof to 10 feet and it's pretty rugged, we can drop it, throw it... this is actually the 2nd one we've owned in the SW line, the first one got lost. Anyway... Jamie took a photo of his cousin, Marie, underwater while we were on vacation :)

Ellowyn turned 3 in February and I downloaded all the pictures from my camera recently. Yes, I am a little behind the times. I'm a mom of 2, it happens. Anyway, I wanted to post the last couple of pictures E took when she was 2 so that going forward we can get bumped up to the 3 yr old tag. :P

Cassie took it on a recent trip with me to HEB and I thought it was so funny (it takes less than 5 minutes to get to HEB from our home) that I had to share the whole set. Rachel lovingly tucked muffles into bed, kissed her on her little bearhead, then snuck into mommy's desk and stole her camera to take a pic. I just love it when i go to load pictures and there are 20 on there that i have no idea where they came from. She's actually quite good though.

She hasn't quite got the concept down to not chop off your subjects heads though. We'll have to work on that!

My son is Tommy. He is 6 years old. He has a new interest. Photography. Which makes me happy. I am a photographer. Here are a few of his beginning shots. Taken about a month ago. First one....my chest. LOL Lovely! I like it because you can't see my face!

Second one, the cat treats on a shelf in the foyer. Maybe.... he has a future in advertising?

Third picture? Me..setting up my tripod. He wanted to learn how to use the timer to take pictures with himself in them!

Fourth picture...the result of learning to use the timer.

Pretty good job!!Then for the fifth picture....everyting he learned went out the window! LOL There is nothing like a great butt shot when you are a 1st grader!!

We got stuck in traffic on the way home (from a 1300 mile trip - the last 30 miles were the ONLY traffic we hit), so we handed our 3 year old the camera as a bribe.....
